Acreage Devoted to Maryland Tobacco Farms

About 90 percent of
all Maryland tobacco farms are less than 260 acres, and nearly half of all
Maryland tobacco farms are less than 50 acres. Tobacco farms comprise less
than 6 percent of all Maryland farms.
