has been volunteering since the day after the storm hit.
"We've
got chocolate pudding, small waters, big waters," she said to
officers in La Plata, doling out pieces of her stash.
She
volunteers because "you
gotta help others," she said. "Some day, I may need this help.
"If I
can get this food out, I'll do it," she yelled as she drove off to the
next group of hungry volunteers.
Volunteers
from Andrews Air Force Base and the Greater Waldorf Jaycee Foundation were
stationed under a tent filled with food, helping with its distribution. Donated golf carts were
used to get the food out to all the volunteers in town.
