Morale-boosting signs
were posted on buildings throughout La Plata.
"The
signs show that we support each other," said Assistant Town Manager
Patti Bembe. "It brings a tear to your eye when you see some of
them."
The Charles
County Rescue Squad placed a sign above its makeshift station the
week of the tornado. Lt. Missy Fox said she
wanted to put up a sign "to let people know
we're right here, and still here to protect the community."
