Rep. Constance A. Morella represents the 8th District.

A congressional district map approved in May by the governor knocks Olney out of Republican Rep. Connie Morella's district and gives it to District 4, a majority-black district represented by Democratic Rep. Albert Wynn.

Morella was re-elected in 2000 for her eighth term. 

Wynn says District 4 represents 72,000 federal employees, more than any congressional district in the nation.
