SILVER SPRING, Md. - Children gather at Long Branch Library in Silver Spring to celebrate the 107th birthday of children's book author Dr. Seuss. The event, held on Read Across America Day, includes a visit from the Cat in the Hat, a reading of Dr. Seuss' books by Miss Maryland USA and Miss Maryland Teen USA, and a "Green Eggs and Ham" breakfast.
