Jim Foster, 59, owner of the
Harley-Davidson/Buell store, dedicated his ride to Elizabeth Wainio, 27, a
Towson University graduate who died when Flight 93 crashed in Pennsylvania. Foster learned about Wainio from
a friend of her mother's.
When the mother, Mary White, learned
Foster was going to carry Wainio's picture in the ride, she "called him and
thanked him and just cried and cried," she recounted.
She added she was so
proud the bikers "would do this for me, for us, for our family."
Foster said he will keep the Ride to
Remember tradition going as long as people want to do it.
"The motorcycle community is very
supportive, [But] as time passes, people respectfully move on," he said.
