A Ride to Remember

Eight-year-old Gizmo has been riding his whole life, according to owner Nick Pensel, a 57-year-old electrician from Glen Burnie, Md.

Gizmo, a pomeranian-chihuahua-poodle mix, rode with Pensel for half of the trip in a pouch modified from a woman's purse.

Pensel said he had no problem training Gizmo to sit still while riding. "His grandmother rode and his father rode," Pensel said. "He just saw them and mimicked what they did."
