A Ride to Remember
After four hours of registration and
mingling, the riders left for the 52-mile ride, accompanied by a few dozen
officers from area police and fire departments. Many of the officers donated their
time.
Bill Bell, 57, of Abingdon, Md.,
said that the ride was a "great cause" that was "worth coming out for,
even if it rains.
"They
gave up their lives. We can get wet," he said.
